Spent today creating the main menu, making sure to create it to be reusable for future games. I moved the collection content to its own scene so that the menu is just plug and play, I'll just have to adjust the art but it should really speed up dev.
I created a small logo animation at the start of the game which I'm a big fan of, I also added some basic fades to the menu items on initial load. The menu will eventually have full slide-ins and there will some slick transitions between scenes... but for now :P Well, now we have what we have. One cool idea I've been thinking about for transition is a wipe to black + an icon related to the game, then it switches scenes and the scenes slides that off-screen to reveal the new background.
I finished setting up the collection screen and even got some of the basic stuff set up for the main game. I'm in really good shape to start tackling gameplay tomorrow!
